When I am creating, the story dissolves completely and only the energy remains. Sometimes spirits from a distant past take shape in the clay or paper I am shaping with my hands. Sometimes the medium becomes an expression of pieces of me that I've yet to fully comprehend or give life to. It's an amazing experience to witness yourself outside of yourself and see yourself for who you really are. In the rawest form you are, simply put, energy.
