Refrain from eating at least one hour prior to class. Arrive at class about ten minutes prior to the scheduled start time. You will be asked to fill out a short waiver when you check in. Let the teacher know you are a new student and if you have any special physical circumstances or old injuries. Wear comfortable clothing that will allow the teacher to see the alignment of your body in the asanas. All classes are done barefoot. Bring a non-slip “sticky” mat, a belt or strap (available for purchase at The Happy Yogi) and two thick blankets. Water during class is optional, but be sure to drink plenty afterward. Let the teacher know if you are pregnant or have an injury (If you are pregnant make sure you consult with your doctor prior to attending a class.). |
